The Conex Solar Side LightBlaster is a low profile tubular skylight, also called a solar tube or sun tunnel, designed to mount on your container's side rather than the roof. It brings natural sunlight into your dark shipping container, so you can save electricity and let the sun illuminate your Conex during the daylight hours.

How easy is this to install? A Conex Solar Side LightBlaster is a very simple install. It comes with a template to help you cut the circular hole in your container's side.

Applications include shipping containers where a side mount is preferred as opposed to a roof mount.

High Impact Dome Assembly

Allows natural sunlight to enter the tube. High impact dome is made from modified acrylic, strong enough for severe weather (hurricane-tested), absorbs UV rays to protect interiors, and maintains clarity (won't yellow). Secondary dome improves light distribution by avoiding hot spots within the tube. The ceiling dome acts as a diffuser to disperse the natural light inside the container.

All Metal Construction & Form-Fitted Flashing

Our LightBlaster product line features all metal flashing, reflective tubes, diffuser ring. Our products were designed by a life-time roofer who understands the type of temperatures and conditions these solar tubes will face on one's roof. Plastic has no place being on a roof.
