Before you order

A tubular skylight goes where a window or a conventional skylight can't — no framing to cut, no wiring, no bulbs, and no large glazed opening to leak or load the room with heat. Two things are worth checking before you buy.

Measure from your roof deck to the finished ceiling.

On a typical shed there's nothing between the two but the plywood deck — about three quarters of an inch — and the tube supplied with the unit is all you need. If your shed has a dropped ceiling or a thicker roof assembly, extension tubes add the length to bridge it. For a house or a warehouse, where the run from roof to ceiling is longer and varies by building, get in touch before ordering and we'll size it with you.

On a shipping container, measure your roof ribs first.

Container roofs vary, and the Conex Solar LightBlaster is sized to the rib spacing. Check yours before you buy rather than after.
